CVD Exception Recording
Hi,
A EMIS LV practice has performed a CVD risk assessment on a number of patients over 75 years who are outside the target age for CVD risk assessment. Does anyone have any advice on how the practice can exception code for those patients who are outside of the target age for CVD risk assessment? They have suggested the 9hJO read code as patient unsuitable and giving age as a reason. I'm not sure if this would be acceptable.
Any advice is appreciated.

Wouldnt a search criteria specifying the age range 40 - 74 exclude them?

CVD risk assessment
Hi,
For QoF CVD -PP new hypertensive pts in Business Rules v.16 both under 35 and over 75 are excluded.
If it is regarding NHS Health Check Programme - we do not use Pop Man Seraches but build our own that are looking into pts 40-74 without preexisiting CVD, diabetes, etc (and who have not NHS health check done already).
