EMIS LV IM&T DES Report: Summary once per Diagnosis

    Hi

Can anyone help me to understand "summary flag" in relation to this particular report.

Does it somehow relate to whether or not the diagnosis is entered as a problem? I have a discrepency (ie. low % of pts with a summary flag in relation to no of pts with records), but don't know what to do about it.

Any advice would be great. Thanks, Mark

    Hi
You are right. This report shows all the patients with that particular diagnosis and then looks to see if the problem was entered with the correct priority, for LV this means entered as a significant problem. The discrepancies you are seeing will have the correct code for diagnosis but the code will not have been given the correct priority.

    Hope this helps a little
