PRIMIS+ Managing the Patient Health Record in General Practice Workshop
This workshop will be held at NHS Kirklees, Conference Room 2, Bradley Park, Huddersfield HD2 1GZ

This session is aimed at those undertaking the Managing Patient Records in General Practice unit and enables the delegates to:

• to demonstrate an understanding of how the current legislation and guidelines relating to records management is applied in the NHS and how effective records management can be achieved
• to demonstrate an awareness of the types, content and use of health records across the healthcare sector
• to develop an understanding of data quality and its importance to patient healthcare and organisations and tools and techniques to improve data quality.
• to demonstrate an awareness of primary care clinical information systems

This unit is aimed at delegates who are new to primary care or those who wish to refresh their knowledge in this area.
